As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

Greetings Friendos~ Welcome to another Saturday, and Another trip to the Story Corner! Harry Dresden is back! After what feels like a small eternity, we have a brand new Harry Dresden book to add to our collection. The Novella entitled “The Law” was released in July of 2022, and after almost four years of waiting, Harry is back. Harry is beaten and battered, He has been through the war with the Red Court, he has lost his home, his car (a Vintage VW Bug he calls the Blue Beetle). His Brother is imprisoned under an island in the middle of Lake Michigan, and he lost friends and loved ones in the battle for Chicago. Add to all of this, the fact that his boss, the Queen of the Wicked Fae, has arranged a marriage for him. Twelve Months, is the story of how Harry Begins to heal, and take back his life. He makes amends with some estranged friends and family, and begins to knit back together the tattered remains of his life.
Do yourself a favor. Give this one a read, and treat yourself to a good time.
