Yes, we are winning. And we must act as such. Giving the Trump autocratic, grifting, and treasonous regime a plausibility of success empowers them.

In past national crises—from Civil Rights struggles to wars abroad—mimic today’s resistance to rising authoritarianism, especially in Minneapolis. Grassroots civic action still works. Recent Democratic and Progressive victories in local races are evidence that democratic forces are making gains, even while institutions like major media and corporate power collude with reactionary forces. Independent journalism and civic resistance is essential to defending and rebuilding a multiracial democracy.
