I want to start out by sharing the video of today’s hearing held by Democrats only. It included witnesses who had been assaulted, detained, harassed and frightened by ICE. I only saw about 15 minutes, but those 15 minutes were powerful. The witnesses bravely told their stories, which were horrific, especially to hear them in their own voices. Please watch as much as you can!

BREAKING: Judge Jia Cobb issues a TRO blocking DHS Sec Noem's Jan 8 memo purporting to require 7-day notices by members of Congress to perform oversight visits to immigration detention facilities.
The effect is that congressional oversight visits are allowed on request, as is required by Sec. 527.
