Good day, Peeps. I hope everything is alright at your places. I also hope your weather is warming up. My part of Wisconsin might get above freezing tomorrow.
A gentle reminder of how we do things:
- Do not troll the diary. If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul.
- Please do share pics of your fur kids! If you have health/behavior issues with your pets, feel free to bring it to the community.
- Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Birds... are birds! Peeps are people.
- Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. If you’re having “issues” with another Kossack, keep it “out there.” This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly.
- There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, please remember that we do have phobic peeps who react strongly to them. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paw.
Those damn bambis. It’s Tuesday morning as I’m writing this. I had one hell of a time keeping them away from my bird feeding stump this morning. First a big doe tried to fill up on sunflower seeds beginning immediately after I dumped them out there. I swear, she was waiting for me. But this time I was prepared. I thought so, anyway. I had my trusty new slingshot and a couple of pellets. I missed her hindquarters but the sound of the pellet flying past her added some motivation to her stride. Unfortunately, she didn’t stay away for long. I had to repeat my shouting and shooting a good half dozen times. I kept missing her but nonetheless she gave up about an hour later.
I also had a pair of little yearlings to deal with. Those two were more skittish than the doe. They sprinted off the second they saw me. They didn’t come back.
This is what I have to do to feed the birds.
Enough of my deer troubles. How about some memes?
So what’s happening with your critters?
