What will happen on midterm election day
T**** has stated his desire for Republicans to take over the election process in ~15 “places.” The goblin Bannon says ICE will patrol polling stations. There is NO QUESTION that on election day:

Masked and armed goons will be surrounding polling place and abducting voters from the line based on their skin color

The goons will seize ballot collection boxes and ballot materials as they are delivered to elections offices

We may see local elections officials arrested and abducted.

T**** will say the election results were rigged and that “illegals” voted in vast numbers. He will declare the election invalid. The administration will monopolize the compliant news media with alarmist lies, and their bots will do the same on social media. The results will be in limbo. Congress will be unable to convene and act.

The fascist takeover will be complete.
This is going to happen. We know it is. He is not going to let Democrats take over the House or the Senate, which would bring an end to his empire of grift and sadism.
What can we do about it?
The Democratic party, along with citizens’ rights groups such as the ACLU, must coalesce and prepare now to come up with a strategy and act to prevent this catastrophe.

There are 3,000 counties in the US, which each run their own elections. Each has dozens or more polling places. Assume half of these are in Democratic-leaning districts. Even with vast numbers of goons on the Federal payroll, they are not enough to terrorize all the Democratic polling places, so they will have to target particular ones that would contribute the largest amount of votes for Democrats. We can make a good assumption as to which ones this will be.

Have observers in place at all high profile polling stations.

Volunteers with white reflective vests labeled “Peacekeeper” need to be stationed outside polling areas and elections offices en masse, equipped with whistles and cameras.

Governors of blue-leaning states must be willing to protect elections offices with National Guard troops. Local police forces must be willing to protect their elections officials and elections offices. Our leaders must be willing to support citizens and local officials against Federal forces. (This is probably not achievable in swing states with Republican governors.)

We need to flood social media with the message that the administration will try to invalidate election results – just as they are doing now with their message that the election will be “stolen.” And make the message alarming. We are not Susan Collins being “concerned.”
There are a lot of people out there who are more clever than me, who can come up with better elements of an action plan. Just be aware, THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN. Don’t think “it can’t get that bad.” We never thought a president would tear down the White House or kidnap people to put them in warehouse concentration camps. It is going to happen.
And remember what happened the last time a major Western country was taken over by fascism. It took a world war to restore democracy.
