CNBC is reporting here that Rep. Thomas Massie (R- Kentucky) has called for Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to resign:
“He should just resign,” Massie said on CNN’s “Inside Politics Sunday.”
“Howard Lutnick clearly went to the island if we believe what’s in these files; he was in business with Jeffrey Epstein, and this was many years after Jeffrey Epstein was convicted,” Massie said. “He’s got a lot to answer for, but really, he should make life easier on the president, frankly, and just resign.”
This is starting to circle close to home.
The real question is whether people like Lutnick will take the ax to their neck without talking about how DonOld was there for everything they saw and then some? What will it cost DonOld to buy Lutnick’s silence? Did he learn his lesson with Michael Coehn tht cutting people off without a lifeline can be great incentive for them to talk about things he would rather kept silent?
