In one week, we can show the country we are not waiting for the midterms.
In one week, Shawn Harris can become the first Democrat to ever hold this Congressional seat.
In one week, people across GA District 14 can celebrate having a Representative who truly supports them.

Retired Brigadier General Shawn Harris is the only actual Democratic Candidate for Congress in Georgia’s District 14 special election. His FB page has stories and testimonials that tell of voters who want change now.
I think it is acceptable/appropriate for me to share this quote from his FB page:
A picture of a woman with a sign, “Republicans for Shawn Harris for Congress- Leadership Matters” shows this quote:
“I don’t really think of Shawn as a Democrat. I think of him as a Georgian, a veteran, and a farmer- the kind of man who represents my neighbors and friends. He has more in common with the people around here than the Republican candidates do.”
One comment to her post says: “I see him as an American who will fight for his District.”
Shawn has a quote on Iran, and I will share just the beginning here:
“As a retired Brigadier General and combat veteran I know the difference between a clear objective and a dangerous distraction… A clearly defined mission and end goal is critical to success. We don’t seem to have either in Iran right now...”

And how about the math! The House total is 435 seats, and it is currently at 218 R to 214 D plus 3 vacancies. With a win for Shawn Harris on March 10th, we move to 218 to 215. With a win in NJ on April 16th for Analilia Mejia, the Democratic candidate in the special election (to replace Mikie Sherrill (D) who left her seat 11/20/25 to become Governor), we move to 218 to 216. With a win June 2nd in California in the special election to replace the late Doug LaMalfa (R) for CA CD 1, we go to 218 to 217. All of these races take place before the midterms.
We start with a win for Shawn Harris next week!
