trump is worried about weapons stockpiles if the war extends much longer, hence he bleats about “virtually infinite stockpiles” and “forever wars.”
Rubio comes up with a twisted Orwellian excuse for why the U.S. attacked Iran first (no, it wasn’t Israel) —
There absolutely was an imminent threat. And the imminent threat was, that we knew that if Iran was attacked, and we believed that they would be attacked (by Israel), that they would immediately come after us. And we were not going to sit there and absorb a blow before we responded.

This operation is a clear, devastating, decisive mission: destroy the missile threat, destroy the navy, no nukes. Israel has clear missions as well for which we are grateful, capable partners, as we've said since the beginning, capable partners are good partners, unlike so many of our traditional allies who wring their hands and clutch their pearls, hemming and hawing about the use of force.
No stupid rules of engagement, no nation-building quagmire, no democracy building exercise, no politically correct wars. We fight to win, and we don't waste time or lives.
Epilogue
The trump regime continues to thumb its nose at national and international law, and rain death and destruction here and abroad. There is no post-bombing plan. trump keeps gaslighting the nation that all is well, golden age, blah blah. Their base loves the violence. Republicans are pulling every stop to prevent Democrats from winning elections.
We can only hope that the world will pull itself together and come to a resolution to end this mayhem.
Meanwhile, we have to use all the tools at our disposal to stop and slow down this regime. Let’s stay united and energized. And keep spreading the Truth.
