More War Porn by NYT, WSJ

I wrote a story yesterday about War Porn. It continues. As I write, the NYT has a banner headline across its front page ‘Trump says Strikes Killed Iranians US Saw as New Leaders.’ No matter that Trump said this first on Sunday and it is now late on Tuesday. No matter that there is ZERO reporting to determine who he meant—if in fact he meant anyone and it’s just more lies and distraction (or possibly they killed a mole). No interviewing of any expert on Iran or its theocracy to comment on who these people might have been, let alone who might be the new leaders of Iran. It’s irresponsible, it’s lazy, it’s War Porn.

Now, the Wall Street Journal earlier today had a banner headline that read: “Trump says US has knocked out Iranian Military.’ Again, ZERO reporting to given this comment any context or any reporting to review its accuracy. That banner headline was replaced with a new banner headline that directly contradicted the previous headline: ‘Drone targets US consulate in Dubai as Iran Escalates Attacks.’ Hello? Is anyone at the WSJ sentient?
