Trump surely shares some of the same motives but who doubts that distraction is primary for him?

- Texas — 7:00 pm Central Time. The Western corner of the state — including El Paso and Hudspeth County — operates on Mountain Time.
- North Carolina — 7:30 pm Eastern Time.
The North Carolina State Board of Elections has extended voting at one precinct in Halifax County to 8:30 p.m. This means statewide primary election results will be delayed to 8:30 p.m.
The State Board of Elections voted unanimously to extend voting by one hour at Halifax County's Littleton precinct. This comes after the voting location was delayed in opening due to a "synchronization issue with electronic poll books."
North Carolina law allows for the State Board of Elections to extend voting hours at sites where voting is interrupted for at least 15 minutes, state election officials said.
