Donald Trump appears most aroused when bragging about the power of the United States military. The eeriest aspect of listening to him describe blowing up people on boats in international waters, the body count of dead Iranians, and the killing of six American soldiers in Kuwait is the lack of empathy and humanity he expresses towards the loss of human life. Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth are treating this horrific war of choice like a video game with the U.S. military being the superhero we cheer on to the next murderous bombing. For example, in shockingly cold, bad taste, the White House released a video montage of war and combat scenes from movies and video games to emphasize just how cool and tough the U.S. military is compared to its enemies and allies. Americans are outraged by the callous, non- chalant, illegal way Trump is conducting himself as Commander-in- Chief, SHOULD MAGA BE ASKING THEIR PRESIDENT WHAT HAPPENED TO AMERICA FIRST ?
While he takes us to war, allows his rich Cabinet members to squander taxpayer money by lavishing themselves with private jets and other excesses, while he builds a $200 million elitist ballroon, unnecessarily renovates the Kennedy Center and gives himself a $90 million military birthday parade, "we the people" are paying more for goods and services, while losing both jobs and access to affordable healthcare. Republicans got duped and humiliated by his lies. The Democrats warned what was coming. ISN'T THE TRUMP WAR, THE MURDERS OF AMERICANS BY ICE, THE IMPLICATIONS OF WRONGDOING IN THE EPSTEIN FILES, AND THE SKYROCKETING COST OF LIVING ENOUGH TO MAKE REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS REALIZE THAT CONTINUING TO ALIGN THEMSELVES WITH TRUMP GUARANTEES THEY WILL LOSE THEIR JOBS?
Since his re-election to a second term as president, Trump has been obssessive about calling for military intervention both domestically and globally. He has bombed Iran, attacked Venezuela, and threatened to invade our ally Greenland. Its as if he sees military soldiers and the people they kill as plastic game pieces instead of human beings with lives to live and families to love and care about. Related to the Trump/ Israel War against Iran, Trump has said, " more people will die. War is tough". What a chillingly, matter-of-fact message for a president to give when sending young Americans to war, especially when no imminent threat to our country existed. So far, Trump's enthusiasm for sending young U.S. military men and women into danger has not led to him asking his sons and daughters to enlist and fight in his illegal war. Should he also be asking his MAGA base who support this war to enlist? Would they comply out of loyalty or chicken out?
In 2017, hundreds of mental health professionals warned us that Trump was dangerous for America. Through the use of tele-medicine- like observations of Trump's behaviors and rhetoric, these doctors, with confidence, have reported that he most likely suffers from the diagnoses of Malignant Narcissism and Anti-Social Personality Disorder. These serious character disorders are characterized by a lack of empathy, dishonesty, grandiousity, manipulation, a disregard for rules and laws, self- absorption, fragile egos, and a strong sense of entitlement. These traits explain why Trump elevates such flawed people to positions of power, engages in warmongering, uses cruel, racist mass deportation tactics, disregards the Constitution, lies compulsively, and engages in corrupt behaviors that have enriched himself, his family, and his billionaire friends.
The decline of the American democracy along with the decline of Trump physically and mentally are the reasons why the people, the military, and the courts need to make sure that this regime does not survive for three more years.
