The leader of the most powerful country on Earth was literally threatening to end a civilization earlier today, and now that it didn’t happen (for now) the first thought in your head is, “let me go dunk on Trump for not doing it!”?

I’m not gloating, because there’s nothing to gloat about. I’m relieved. I’m worried about the people of Iran. I’m monitoring the situation.

My first thought was “How can we stop this from happening? How do we hold Trump accountable?”, not “Let me exploit this atrocity by copypasting a Trump TACO meme so that I can farm recommendeds on DailyKos!”

What’s even your point? By posting “Trump TACOed out of committing a genocide!” you’re calling him a coward for...not going through on his promise to “end a civilization”, as he put it.

That’s a good thing. Why are you gloating? The only way Trump can address your criticism is by NOT chickening out and, in fact, committing a genocide. Is that what you want?
