More in the comment thread and tags.
We want to honor those who have given so much to the building and nurturing of the ideals and strength of this community, who are no longer on site for whatever reason, wherever they may be. Some have walked on; some just have moved on. Let’s keep recollection of them with us always. They are part of who we are, and what we may aspire to become.

In the thread, please do upload DK4 profile pages to post in comments.
You can check the diaries in this group near the top of each and in the tags, to see the names of friends we’re remembering, so no one loses time duplicating effort with DK6/Wordpress barely a week away. Click at the group page there to follow if you’d like. Not sure if following will migrate to WP but ya never know.
Screenshots of DK4 profiles MUST be uploaded to the image library by April 13, because all DK4 /Perl pages vanish forever the next day. If you have somewhere else to save them for posting later, though, that’s good too.
This group can add members who’d like to post diaries IF they know how to reblog or to post via a group queue, and can find and upload the profiles.
Or you can post diaries for reblogging here and not join if you’d rather. Just please try to generally use the format you see in this post especially the list of names as the first line or in the title, and put all those names in the tags PLUS the names of anyone whose profile screenshots readers comment in the thread.
Tag the posts also DKWallOfHonor and meta
After it’s published, contact mettle fatigue or any other admin in the group so we can reblog.
One way to find a DK4 profile page in order to take a screenshot of the key area is use this URL
https://www.dailykos.com/user/mettle%20fatigue/
but after you click it, remove me from it :D and type there instead the screenname of the person you want to honor who’s no longer active on-site. h/t to wesmorgan1 for this search strategy!
Or use the site search engine — pick USER mode and fill in the USERNAME field as best you remember. (When searching to see if a kosak has already been in a post or thread, pick TAG mode.)
If neither of those search strategies work, try looking on the pages of groups where your friends have been members, click their name there, and if you get their DK5 profile page, just go up to the URL bar and change the word users (plural) to just user.
Reply to one of us admins in the thread if you find you need added help.
Thanks for reading, and remembering.
