I’m honestly at a loss of what to focus on for today’s diary. I write it on Tuesday, and today the felon-in-chief has doubled down on his crazy Easter message about destroying Iran and murdering nearly 100 million people, nearly all of whom are civilians, which is a war crime.
I posted a diary Sunday evening showing a variety of congressional Democrats’ social media posts in response to his deranged Easter message.
Today as I scroll Bluesky and Twitter I’m seeing non-stop posts from Democrats about the very dangerous position republicans have put us in. I can assure you they are taking this all very seriously, they’re very concerned, and are feeling the constraints of being in the minority.
Later in the same day…
The madman has declared a 2 week ceasefire. That hasn’t stopped Democrats for continuing to raise their voices about where he took us and what still needs to be done.
I could post more, but am trying to keep it to a small sample size.
As of this writing at 8pm, Pacific, on Tuesday, Majority Leader John Thune has been silent about what he posted on Easter and Tuesday morning. Speaker Mike Johnson has only posted about the “ceasefire”.

Side story here. Look closely at the protest sign my wife & I did on the street near our local college. A woman in a Lexus pulled up to the curb to chastise me for using the word "FUCK," as in "FUCK Racism." (Her issue.)
