After the killing of Charlie Kirk, the FBI has ramped up a project to designate anyone who disagrees with any policy position held by MAGA as a criminal domestic terrorist.

President Trump’s budget request to Congress contains the largest counterterrorism spending increase in years — and buried inside it is a new FBI-led center dedicated to “proactively” hunting Americans the government classifies as so-called domestic terrorists.
The new center and funding boost represent the implementation of Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum 7 (NSPM-7), the sweeping federal order I’ve been covering since it was signed last September.
Though public opposition to ICE succeeded at forcing the administration to back down in Minnesota — even firing both Kristi Noem and Gregory Bovino — the FBI is doubling down its domestic terrorism obsession.
Now, Trump’s budget request reveals, the FBI runs a dedicated “NSPM-7 Joint Mission Center”; with personnel from 10 federal agencies, it is busy “proactively” identifying domestic terrorists motivated by any of the following beliefs:

“anti-Americanism,”

“anti-capitalism,”
-
“anti-Christianity,”
-
“support for the overthrow of the U.S. Government,”

“extremism on migration,”
-
extremism on “race,”
-
extremism on “gender,”
-
“Hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family,”

Hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on “religion,” and
-
Hostility towards those who hold traditional views on “morality.”
How exactly do you think they’re going to interpret “extremism” on “migration, race and gender” while also standing against “hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion and morality?” What does that sound like to you?
The “tradition” they’re talking about is clearly in favor of those who support racial, gender and religious bigotry. People they call “extremist” would be those who oppose racism, oppose LGBTQ bigotry, and oppose religious (Christian) supremacy.

We already know that the Trump Adminisration, while loudly decrying “lawfare” and “political retribution,” have still tried to indict Barack Obama, James Clapper, James Comey, Letitia James, John Bolton, the “Seditious Six” (Mark Kelly, Elissa Slotkin, Jason Crow, Maggie Goolander, Chris Deluzio and Chrissy Houlahan), Mayor Ras Baraka, Rep LaMonica McIver and former Dem candidate Kat Abughazaleh.
Most of these claims and charges have been completely demented and have been either tossed out or dropped, but not all.
These people are suffering from a massive case of projection, constantly attacking and blaming the left for violence that — quite often — they themselves have committed or initiated.
1,400 people assaulted the Capitol under the direction of Trump, 600 of whom committed violent attacks on Capitol and Metro police, and so of course Kash Patel fires every FBI agent who investigated and arrested these criminals, Pam Bondi fires every prosecutor who gained these convictions, and Trump pardons each and every one of them.
The “real criminals,” they believe, were the FBI and DOJ, who punished these people and the MAGA thugs who assaulted the police were the “Heroes.”
It’s completely lunacy, but it’s a core belief of the MAGAs.
They can’t even prove that Charlie Kirk’s alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, actually is a “Leftist.” If you believe those Wuthering Heights text messages, the reason he shot Charlie was because of his “Hate.” He didn’t even say that it was because of his political opinions or his being a MAGA or on the Right; it was because of “Hate.”
They completely ignore the fact that the Christchurch Mass murderer, who killed over 50 people, wrote a manifesto praising Donald Trump saying he was the “savior of the White Race.” They ignore that the mass murderer at Charleston Church (killing 10 Black people) was an Neo-Nazi who was radicalized by the racist anti-black rhetoric of the Council of Conservative Citizens. They ignore that mass shootings at the Tree of Life Synagogue (killing 11 Jews), the El Paso Walmart (killing 23 Latinos), the Buffalo Tops Market (killing 10 Black people) and the Allen, Texas Mall shooting (killing 9 people) were by people who were motivated by the bogus, Racist, Right-wing “Great Replacement Theory.” They ignore that the Right-Wing Christian Nationlist murderer of Democratic Rep Melissa Hortman and her husband was carrying a “hit-list” of additional targets which included Gov Tim Walz, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Attorney General Keith Ellison and Senator Tina Smith. None of this matters.
There hasn’t been anything like any of these mass murders from anyone, even in the middle, let alone the Left. None of us has gone on mass shooting sprees while writing love letters to Barack Obama and Joe Biden saying they are the “saviors of the Black Race!” None of us have been quoting progressive policy like “Build Back Better” or the “Green New Deal” as a reason to target Christian churches or places where White people gather, just because we want White Christian people to suffer, and none of us were found with a “Kill List” of Republicans and MAGAs.
They argue that someone stalked and threatened Justice Kavanaugh, Yeah, ok. Well, a QAnoner also stalked, threatened and went to the home of Barack Obama. Then another QAnon wack-jack broke into the home of Nancy Pelosi and smashed her husband’s skull in. That’s on top of the QAnon nutbag who went to Ping Pong Pizza and threatened them with an assault rifle while demanding to see the “kidnapped children in the basement”, when there were no kids and no basement. And then thousands of QAnon and MAGA shitbags attacked the Capitol and threatened to “Hang Mike Pence,” for refusing to deny the Electoral count and make Trump President again.
The closest you could find to anything like this is the Congressional Baseball shooting - where no one died except the shooter - by a Bernie supporter from 2017. And you know what Bernie did that no Republican, Right-wing politician or Trump has done in response to all these other shootings, not Tree of Life, not Christchurch, not Charleston, not Charlottesville, not Buffalo, and not El Paso? He admitted it was done by one of his supporters and he condemned it, and he condemned the shooter. He has never endorsed violence. But they never honestly condemn it if it’s coming from their side. They haven’t even been willing to admit that it came from their own rhetoric and actions. They make excuses, they blame other people - the Undercover FBI, the Informants, the Instigators, the Antifa, the Trans - they never take responsibility.
When Trump said there were “good people” on both sides of the Charlottesville riot that killed Heather Heyer, he claimed after the fact that her wasn’t talking about the “Neo-Nazis.” Except that the entire event was a gathering of Neo-Nazis. Who the hell else was there to be the “good people” who wanted to keep up a Confederate statue? Did he mean the guys with Tiki Torchers screaming “Jews Will Not Replace Us?” (Again, Great Replacement Theory) Those guys attacked the students and faculty at the University of Virginia who were counter-protesting and they gave the Librarian a Stroke.
University of Virginia librarian Tyler Magill was among the counter-protesters surrounded by torch-bearing white supremacists Friday night at the school’s famous Thomas Jefferson statue.
On Sunday, Magill was shouting down and disrupting a press conference by Jason Kessler, who organized Saturday’s so-called Unite the Right rally that devolved into violence, including the death of 32-year-old Heather Heyer.
By Tuesday, Magill’s vision was failing. He went to the emergency room, where he had a stroke. He was taken into intensive care.
Doctors determined the stroke was caused by physical trauma that Magill, 46, had suffered in recent days to an artery in his neck.
The only injury he suffered, according to friends, was when he was hit in the neck with a torch at Friday’s confrontation.
These are the “good people” on that side?
They complain and whine that they get compared to “Confederates” and “Nazis” (even when they do support the Confederacy and they actually do have Neo-Nazis in their ranks who raise their hands and screamed “Hail Trump, Hail our People, Hail Victory” ) while they endorse having masked jackbooted thugs kidnap people without reasonable suspicion or probable cause and intern them in concentration camps without a bond hearing or due process. Seriously, besides the internment of Japanese citizens and the Slave Patrols of the Confederacy, who else has done shit like that?
When we respond by pointing out all their legal and Constitutional violations or their War Crimes, they call us “traitors”, “scum,” and “vermin.” They act like we aren’t “real” Americans, like we’re diseased and some kind of sub-human. Trump regularly says we’re “crazy”, “deranged” and the “enemy from within” who should be executed because we’re a greater threat to America than any foreigners, including ISIS and Al Qaeda.
They attack us because some people celebrated and cheered Charlie Kirk’s death, which, of course, was in bad taste. Laughing, cheering, and doing the Snoopy dance was bad form. It was callous, rude and thoughtless. But look at how Trump responded to the death of John McCain, saying “he’s not a hero because he was captured” and refusing to lower flags to half-staff. Look at how Trump specifically attacked Rob Reiner after his death, and said that he deserved it because he’d made the MAGAs angry. Look at how he celebrated the death of former FBI director and Vietnam War Hero Robert Mueller saying, “Good, I'm glad he's dead.”
Some of us laughed, so we’re the dangerous ones? We’re the ones using “violent rhetoric?” We’re the ones endorsing violence?
And it’s not just Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson regularly attacks Democrats for “endorsing and enabling violent crime and murder” with their policies, even though the cities with the higher murder and gun death rates are in Red States.
Analyses of crime data from the past two decades indicate that, contrary to popular political narratives, murder rates are consistently higher in states that vote for Republican presidential candidates (”red states”) compared to those that vote for Democratic candidates (”blue states”).
Key Findings on Red State Murder Rates:

Persistent Trend: Data from 2000–2022 shows that murder rates in Trump-voting states have exceeded those in Biden-voting states every year, with the gap widening over time.

2021-2022 Data: In both 2021 and 2022, the red state murder rate was 33% higher than the blue state murder rate.

Top 10 Rankings: In 2022, 8 out of the 10 states with the highest murder rates voted for Donald Trump in both 2016 and 2020.

Highest Murder States: Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama have frequently held the top three spots for highest murder rates in the country.
Johnson’s state of Louisiana has a murder rate that is 4 times higher than California and yet he continues to claim that Democrats cause more murder?
They also ignore that the vast majority of political domestic terrorism is generated by people on the Right-Wing.
Domestic terrorism in the U.S. is primarily driven by violent extremists adhering to ideologies such as white supremacy, anti-government sentiment, and increasingly, partisan political extremism. While right-wing extremism causes the most fatalities, incidents from left-wing actors have risen. The FBI focuses on, but does not exhaustively track, these ideologically driven crimes.
Key Ideological Drivers of Domestic Terrorism:

White Supremacist/Racial Extremism: This group represents the most persistent and lethal threat, responsible for the majority of domestic terror fatalities.

Anti-Government/Anti-Authority Extremism: Includes militias and “sovereign citizens” who target government, law enforcement, and military personnel.

Partisan Political Extremism: Attacks often arise from political polarization, with a surge in violence targeting government officials and state institutions.

Left-Wing/Anarchist/Anti-Fascist Extremism: Incidents have risen over the last decade, particularly targeting law enforcement and public demonstrations, though generally with lower lethality than right-wing attacks.

Other Motives: Includes abortion-related extremism, violent misogyny, and religious extremists.
But never mind all that, we’re now going to pretend that all the violence is being generated by people “on the Left” like Tyler Robinson and Luigi Mangione, even though neither of them has made any political justifications for what they allegedly did. We don’t even know if either of them is or isn’t a Democrat or a Republican.
Usually, the MAGAs like to argue that expressing hate is protected by the First Amendment, because it is. Also, expressing political opinions is protected by the 1st Amendment just like being an “extremist on race, gender and religion” is protected. But somehow, you can be a gender or racial HATER — but if you hate that hater, you’re now a terrorist?
It’s definitely concerning that the FBI is putting together this task force, but the part they are ignoring is the fact that there is no law against domestic terrorism. Terrorism is defined as a foreign attack on America under the law.
Just like their bogus indictments against Comey and Letitia James, this is going nowhere in the courts. It has no legitimacy, but they could still inconvenience you and force you to spend $thousands on a defense attorney. What’s more concerning is that just trying to implement this bullshit means that anyone who is a critic of the Trump administration, anyone who calls out racism, gender or religious bigotry, anyone who says something that might upset Trump, could be targeted and harassed by the FBI.
Masked, jackbooted ICE gangsters are already illegally terrorizing people across the nation. People opposing this could be called “terrorists” just like Renee Good or Alex Pretti. They could dox you or make excuses justifying your assault or your murder. They could make up an entire bogus complaint like “eating the cats, eating the dogs” ‘ or “widespread rampant fraud” about you and anyone they associate with you. They are setting up a massive surveillance state, scraping social media as well as phone and email information. (probably without a warrant), using facial recognition and AI software to track and target ICE Watch activists, all of which could be used to harass, attack, assault and even kill people using the Federal Law Enforcement.
This is not about who they may prosecute, but who they will intimidate in the process. They may use this data to discriminate against those they deem “dangerous” from getting or retaining government or contractor job positions. If you work for a company with a MAGA owner, like say David Ellison, or just a pack of cowards, you can expect to promptly lose your job, like Colbert or Kimmel, once the FBI shares a little of what they’ve scraped from your social media.
They want you cancelled. They want you scared to speak out. They want you to be afraid to speak your mind. They want to block you from criticism. It’s a new form of McCarthyism, a new form of the Black List.
They want you silent and obedient.
So, the very last thing we can do is give them what they want in advance.
