Both Texas Paul and Medias Touch are detailing how Iran won and Trump LOST.
Now I am very glad that trump stepped back, but all this was for what?
Trump originally said he wanted complete and total surrender of Iran. And rejected this same 10 point plan from Iran days ago. But now It seems that Iran got a complete and total surrender of trump and broadly the US
If you've been watching the Midas Touch Network, we've been saying Iran put forward a 10point plan for its negotiating framework. The Trump regime put forward a 15point plan for its negotiating framework. And Iran had always rejected the 15-point plan and said, "We will only agree to a ceasefire or any deal with our 10 terms." And previously, the Trump regime said it was maximalist, that they would never agree to it. But Iran never budged. — 0:20 MTN video below
The US had it’s own 15 point plan which Iran rejected and continued to reject.
Confirmed by The Guardian
The list of 10 points, published by Iranian state media, include a number of conditions the US has rejected in the past. The plan requires:
-
The lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions on Iran.
-
Continued Iranian control over the strait of Hormuz.
-
US military withdrawal from the Middle East.
-
An end to attacks on Iran and its allies.
-
The release of frozen Iranian assets.
-
A UN security council resolution making any deal binding.
In the version released in Farsi, Iran also included the phrase “acceptance of enrichment” for its nuclear program. But for reasons that remain unclear, that phrase was missing in English versions shared by Iranian diplomats to journalists. — The Guardian
So what did we get from the ole’ greatest deal maker?
We leave ALL our bases in the region. Remember when Bin Laden demanded we leave our base in Saudi Arabia? Iran accomplished what Bin Laden couldn’t, and only because this orange putz was elected.
All sanctions on Iran are lifted. Remember the hope that with regime change a more (small ‘l”) liberal and freer Iran could emerge? Sanctions were how we were hoping to accomplish that, now you can kiss that dream goodbye.
Will MAGA react the same?
MAGA likes to comment, complain and generally make a whole lot of hooha, about how Barack Hussein Obama gave Iran plane loads of cash ($1.7 billion) implying that he was either weak or a secret Muslim/Iranian. It didn’t matter that it was Iran’s money in the first place. It came from a settlement after decades of arbitration. The money was also used as leverage to get Iran to free 4 American prisoners.
There is an estimated $2 billion in Iranian assets still frozen in the US. (In case you can’t do math, $2 billion >[1] $1.7 billion) Internationally, Iranian frozen assets are estimated to be $100–$120 billion. [2] [3] [4]
Will Donald Yahya[5] trump get the “Obama treatment” from these self same people?
No
They, Iran, gets to (continue) to enrich uranium. I thought that was a no va.
We are paying Iran reparations for all the damage and lives taken/lost we,[6] trump, caused. MAGA screams about reparations for the descendants of people we[7] kidnapped, but I’m predicting they’ll be okay with this. They won’t even see their hypocrisy.
And Iran gets to continue to control the Straits of Hormuz that it DID NOT CONTROL BEFORE trump went on this “misadventure.”
Iran got everything it wanted
Now Donald Trump and Hegseth and others from the regime may go on propaganda media like Fox and say this was a win. Donald Trump's a negotiating master. This was a complete and utter surrender. The biggest wipeout in American history. Period. The biggest loser of America ever historically. — 3:25 MTN video below
bolden mine
seems that way
We had them right where they wanted us, right?
Personal comment: Now you know how Palestinians felt when they were iced out of the failed Abraham Accords
I’m sure that’s more stinging in Hebrew.
