Our band of North Carolina protesters left downtown Greensboro's Faith Community Church at  a chilly 5:30 AM and arrived in DC around 11:00 AM (mild and sunny) near the Air and Space museum. On the bus we viewd the Ground truth which really toouched us. I heard the speeches in the background but was more interested myself in the march. When we got started we were lead a band of really great drummers called cakalack thunder who performed with almost military precision we advanced slowly and deliberately past the stage and towards the capital. We seemed to be very much the tail end of the march but this did not drain our enthusiasm as we chanted a parody of justin timberlakes sexy back. "We're takin power back/Thoe politicians don't know how to act/They never should have sent troops to Iraq/So now they have to deal with cackalack." I had fun and I witnessed no violence. The law enforcement people I encountered were very freindly and seemed to be having a good time. just thought I'd put that out there. In the comments feel free to share your experiences or if you didnt go I'd be happy to answer what questions I can. Look for more pic at fellow protestor sean coon's site here
