The attacks and counterattacks between Little Johnnie Howard (Australia's own scum on the butt of the flea on the poodle of George Bush aka Prime Minister ) and the great, handsome and articulate Statesmen from Illinois, Barack Obama led the news in all the Australian newsmedia all day.

Let's recap what has happened so far and then move along as the story has unfolded.
Little Johnnie launched the attack against Barack's Iraq War plan on a Sunday interview with Channel 9 news saying:
Howard: "It is an irresponsible and wrong-headed plan. I think he's wrong. I mean, he's a long way from being President of the United States. I think he's wrong, I think that would just encourage those who wanted completely to destabilise and destroy Iraq and create chaos and a victory for the terrorists to hang on and hope for an Obama victory. he said. "If I was running al-Qaeda in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and pray, as many times as possible, for a victory not only for Obama, but also for the Democrats," he told the Nine Network's Sunday program."
Notice Howard's failure to even master the subjunctive case.
Barack smashed back strongly and intelligently accusing Little Johnnie of
"cowboy rhetoric".
Obama (D-IL): "I think it's flattering that one of George Bush's allies on the other side of the world started attacking me the day after I announced [my presidential] candidacy," he said.
"I would also note that we have close to 140,000 troops in Iraq and my understanding is Mr Howard has deployed 1400.
"So if he is ... to fight the good fight in Iraq, I would suggest that he calls up another 20,000 Australians and send them to Iraq, otherwise it's just a bunch of empty rhetoric."
The newsmedia in Australia and the Leader of the Opposition (Kevin Rudd of the Labor Party) then took Little Johnnie to task for gross interference in the USA election and doing great harm to US-Australian relations.
Rudd: "Mr Howard must not allow his personal relationship with President Bush to impact on Australia's long-term alliance relationship with the United States," Mr Rudd said
"I disagreed with the coalition's decision to invade Iraq ... But I have seen it as my role to discuss the future of Australian foreign policy on Iraq, not lecture United States citizens on how they should vote in the upcoming presidential election."
This all came after a leading national poll showed Little Johnnie far behind Kevin Rudd in the run-up to the national election later this year.
Also Democratic and Republican leaders in the USA told Little Johnnie to stifle himself.
RON WYDEN (D-OR): The most charitable thing you can say about Mr Howard's comment is bizarre. You know, we'll make our own judgements in this country with respect to elections and Barack Obama is a terrific public servant.
JOHN CORNYN (R-TX): Well, I would prefer that Mr Howard stay out of our domestic politics and we'll stay out of his domestic politics.
Although the idiot Duncan Hunter (the amoeba on the butt of the flea on the poodle of George Bush) could be relied upon for his usual idiocy:
HUNTER (R-CA): I think the Aussies have earned a right to comment on the world stage about their partner in this endeavour, because they've been fighting side-by-side with us in Iraq.
And so I think that John Howard, while it wasn't a very complimentary statement, he is basically stating the truth and that is that what we say on the Senate floor on or the House floor goes to a world audience.
And it has an impact on not only our allies, but also our adversaries.
Australia's own Duncan Hunter wanna-be, Federal Liberal backbencher Cameron Thompson (the pimple on the amoeba on the butt of the flea on the poodle of George Bush) says he is proud of Mr Howard's statement and pulling out of Iraq would herald the greatest disaster since the Rwandan genocide.
Thompson:"I don't think that that is acceptable for people like you and I who enjoy a comfortable lifestyle," he said. "To throw people into that kind of abyss is, I think, amoral and I think John Howard is absolutely correct when he says that Barrack Obama's policy is not just wrong, it is I think fundamentally evil."
Little Johnnie most distraught at the declining polls and being hounded by the newsmedia again counterattacked saying
Howard: the Labor Party had no right to attack me because it often criticises George Bush over the Iraq war and no one accused Labor of putting the US alliance in jeopardy. Australia's troop commitment is very significant and appropriate for a nation the size of Australia.
A lot of questions are now being raised as to why Howard chose to attack Obama and not any other Democrat or Iraq plan. Howard has had charges of "rascism" being thrown at him several times in his career. He refuses to apologise to Aboriginies for their displacement and the stolen children of the lost generation, and he has had a seriously inhumane treatment for refugees in internment camps. A leading blogger once wrote of Little Johnnie:
I don't think John Howard is a racist in any meaningful way, but I do think he has a problem valuing non-western cultures. Due to a combination of an almost complete acceptance of conservative, white Australian culture and a certain narrowness of mind, Howard just seems incapable of understanding that some people might reasonably live differently. Due to this narrowness of experience and vision, he just doesn't get why indigenous people are so unhappy about being dispossessed of their land or taken from their relatives. Or that Afghani refugees might really love their children.
Whatever, the final outcome Howard is plummeting in the polls and sinking fast. Having sailed along relatively easily for the last 11 years, payday is fast approaching, and it looks like Australia will finally throw the bastards out come November 2007. Thus if between now and November 2008 we can rid the world of Howard, Blair and Bush in favour of more civilised politicians, we can make a huge difference for the world.
