I mean, dammit why don't WE control the perception on this? The thing was NON-BINDING for crissakes!

Bush is in Nixon territory and WE are backing down (per the Washington Post.)

The damn democrats STILL do not get this basic fact . . . Bush will not COMPROMISE. EVER. He won't even come halfway, or 25% of the way. He wants to run out the clock.

If we do not force Bush's hand on Iraq before he leaves, can't you just hear the worthless media parroting the right in 2009? (Hillary/Obama/Edwards/Richardson/Gravel, a democrat, is responsible for America losing a war for the first time!)

Ok, I have some solutions:

1. We can resubmit the same bill over and over, and let Bush continue to veto his support for the troops (see how easy this is?!)

2. We ALL have to call it the Iraq accountability bill. Over and over and over . . . Joe Biden this means YOU!

3. Make every vote a voice vote, and then hold a press conference hammering the cowards not supporting this.
