Andrew Sullivan is hearing rumors that Obama will rasie upwards of $60 million in February fundraising.  Even in this economy, that's some serious scratch.  

Not that I find this amount of money completely objectionable, but it seems to me that this might put a damper on future noble causes such as real public financing of Congressional elections.
