We are all familar with the Google Bomb and how that works to push negative stories about candidates to the top of the search results.
But....
Has anyone ever considered actually paying for Hits using Google AdWords to purchase keywords to help promote these links?
For example, if one were to purchase the words "Catholic" and "Catholicism" from Google, we could have an ad display that reads:
which in turn would lead to a website detailing the sorid details of John McCain's love for bigotted hate-monger John Hagee.
It's one thing to Google Bomb, but with some $$ spent, we can get these stories spread and targeted to the demographic we want.
Anyone have any experience with Google's AdWords? Is this an idea worth pursuing or am I way off base here.
