I will like to start off by giving a little background about me.  Even though I am closing quickly to the magical number of 40 years old, I have never been attached (gave money or time to any candidate) nor actively followed the primary season.  Most of that was due to the fact that by the time my state voted it was all but decided. In my state it is not required to declare a party so I have always been an independent until this year when I declared to be a democrat since I thought you needed to declare to attend the caucus (yes I am in a state that does not matter).  My political philosophers was in the center tilted right until the mid 90’s when the republicans over reached with all the Clinton investigation and impeachment (I have voted straight dem since that time).  Plus I do believe that we as a society have a responsibility to take care our fellow citizens, to support our infrastructure, freedom of religion, woman’s choice, etc. I guess you could say that my values are more closely aligned to the dem side now.

Since I have not been actively involved in a primary before I have to say that I have never gone through an election where my first choice dropped out, nor really followed along via blogs the trek to the convention.   I am also aware that for the most part we have not had two candidates that are mostly evenly split our electorate even though they do not differ a lost on the majority of the issues. So the question I have is will most folks return to the house, or will rather set it on fire if there number one candidate does not get the nomination.  While I have a feeling most folks here at DKOS  will go ballistic if Hillary does in fact get it, but really if the supers does give it to her she is playing by the rules (I agree that it is not right however those are the rules).  I know that I will be upset but those are the rules of the Democratic Party.  Can the party survive this or evn if Obama gets the nod to prevent another four years of incompetent rule?
I think that we all have to start working together and fighting one and another on the attacks especially on the supporters.  We need ALL of our power to ensure that we can create a positive environment to get OUR party elected up and down the ticket to ensure that whatever happens we do not lose the house or senate.

Let me know what you think but please keep the bashing of one or the other out of it.
