The Hillary campaign today is putting on their poker face, trying to pretend that they did not suffer defeat by yesterday's NC and IN results. The surrogates made their rounds today all staying on message.  Hillary also organized a meeting today in Washington, D.C. with superdelegates, but three said that's ok.

Ed Rendell was on NPR and tried his best to stay on message.

Yeah, but I don’t think that it is it...I think we
should let every state vote. I think Senator Clinton is going to win crushing victories in West Virginia and Kentucky and Puerto Rico andhold her own in the other states People should take advantage of the polls and figure out the electoral math...It’s going to be an interesting three or four weeks. Let the people vote, and I would suggest that if there is any way to let Michigan and Florida vote, I
would love to have seen it.

So, the new plan is to win three crushing victories and make Michigan and Florida count and then Hillary will be the nominee. So, based on this new game plan, Hillary organized a meeting to tell Superdelegates to take a deep breath and wait. But, three superdelegates had more important things to do.

Clinton has asked several uncommitteds to come meet with her this evening at around 8 or 8:30, after votes on the housing bill now being considered on the House floor. Location TBD. I talked to three such members, who said that they are going to take a pass, simply because they have heard several times from both candidates personally over the course of the past week, and there is nothing more to be said.

Another uncommitted said he was going to go out of a sense of courtesy. Keep in mind that these folks are inundated with calls from the respective campaigns and that, for the Clinton side, operatives like Harold Ickes come up every Wednesday to talk to people privately.

It is also being reported that Obama will meet tomorrow with superdelegates in Washington, D.C.

Another uncommitted said his office received a call from the Obama campaign asking for a meet tomorrow. Per NBC’s Mark Hudspeth, Obama will indeed be in DC tomorrow.
