This needs a much wider audience...

and the response of his camp is downright pathetic

Clearly John Kerry and Barack Obama have very little understanding of troop levels, but considering Barack Obama hasn’t been to Iraq in 873 days and has never had a one on one meeting with General Petraeus, it isn’t a surprise to anyone that he demonstrates weak leadership. What informed people understand, John McCain included, is that American troops are not even close to Surge levels. Three of the five Army ‘Surge’ brigades have been withdrawn and additional Marines that were initially deployed for the ‘Surge’ have come home as well – the remaining two brigades will be home in July. Talk about a political stunt, it’s sending out campaign surrogates to parse words about a topic Barack Obama has no experience with, and has shown zero interest in learning about.

In McCain's own retort, they admit that there remains Two (2) Surge Brigades in Iraq.  And then they go on to taunt Barack using the Message of their disgraced 527, Votes for Freedom, which John McCain has repeatedly openly coordinated messages with.

The fact that the line of attack is echoing the now disgraced PAC has been reported on but the Media hasn't yet noticed.  McCain is even now fundraising off the message.

McCain's latest defense on this Gaffe of Monumental Proprotions?  Let's not nit-pick verb tenses.

"To get into a debate about a verb tense rather than the real fundamental national security issues at stake is really a distraction," he said.

John McCain can't tell the difference between Sunni and Shia, doesn't know the calendar of troop withdrawls, and resorts to the tired PAC Line of Meeting with the General...  I guess he missed this committee meeting.

It's time John McCain ends the disrespectful school yard taunts of Barack Obama and respect the Candidate who had the judgement and foresight to see the Iraq war for what it was, before Scott McClellan came out, before most were against it.  If all John McCain can offer the American People is School Yard Taunts and Disrespectful come backs, expect McCain to get Schooled in November.
