Malia is helping Obama get the youth vote. Sometimes your best strategist are right under your nose.

For the first time ever, 2008 Democratic Presidential candidate, Senator Barack Obama, and his family (wife Michelle, and daughters Malia Ann [10] & Sasha [7]) sit down for a candid interview along the campaign trail with Maria Menounos. More of our interview with the Obamas airs in four parts July 8 – 10 on Access Hollywood!

Children are so fun and Malia is no exception. Here is the advice she gave her dad to make sure he stays cool with the kids.

She recalled one time when a friend came over to their house in Chicago and her father, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, ever in campaign mode, shook the girl's hand to say hello. Malia recalled telling him:

"You really don't shake kids' hands that much ... You just wave or say hi," she said in an interview with "Access Hollywood."

Malia is a lovely child and says she will enjoy decorating her room at the White House if given the opportunity. Does anyone need any more motivation to donate to the campaign and make this wonderful child's dream come true?

Malia seemed excited by the possibility of moving to the White House if her father is elected in November. She and her sister would be the youngest kids to live at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. since Amy Carter arrived as a 9-year-old in 1981.

"I enjoy decorating so I get this whole new room to do whatever I want," Malia said.

The Obamas' generally are relunctant to allow their children to do interviews, but when they are around, it is their best secret weapon.
