I don't understand why many get there panties in a bunch when Iran responds to all the tough talk and posturing by the US and Israel by doing missle tests and tough talk of their own.

No matter of your opinion, they are a sovereign proud nation. Just as we are. I can only assume that an Iranian will ferociously defend their land, as I will do for my own.
I would protect my land and my people at all costs.
I would have nuclear weapons.. Why? because it looks like the west does not respect any land in the middle east unless they have them.
I equate it with the issue of gun control in America. Americans have the right and access to the means to defend themself. Why would any less be expected from a sovereign nation?
.. But what if the person is in the KKK or Skinhead and we don't agree with them? Well, they have a right to own a weapon as well. No matter their political veiws.
Why would any sensible American expect any different from any capable nation?
This is why deplomacy will work. You don't need to muscle Iran - the cause of national pride will cause them not to cower. Just talk to them. Respect them as a soverign nation and you will get less tough talk and posturing.
Right now, Isreal appears to take a posture more aggressive than I would like. I am not interested in fighting a war started by them prematurely. Besides, I fight to defend THIS land over any other. If they can't get along with their neigbors or solve problems peacefully, they should get out. I'm not religious, so I do not feel compelled to lay my life on the line to defend their misadventures.
I know many over here won't agree with me. But this is my opinion. Honesly, I got no problem with Israel. They most certainly have a right to defend themselves as well - which is why we supply them with nukes and other weapons. Israel has to be prepared at all times, considering the rhetoric that has come out of Iran in the past.
However, like one infamous radio host once said: " They 'aint never done anything to me, but then, they never did anything for me either."
