This is utterly disgusting folks...   Adam "Hack" Nagourney is out on the NY Times with a hatchet "Where’s the Bounce?"  I'll tell you where the bounce is Adam... it's being ignored by the media, that's where it is...

Let's examine the evidence.

  1. Real Clear Politics is IGNORING the R2000 Poll out today

They are listing selective polling as of now, choosing to run with the USA Today/Gallup snapshot LV screen, ignoring the RV numbers from the same poll and blowing the average.  The average would be certainly different if they didn't include a BAD Poll while IGNORING a highly respected poll... I've never seen them ignore a poll before, and somehow, they just are.

  1. Back to NAGOURNEY

And it is back again as he returns from an overseas trip that even Republicans have described as politically triumphant. In this case, the question is why — given how sour Americans feel about President Bush and the Republican party, and the perception that Mr. Obama is running a better campaign than Senator John McCain — the senator from Illinois is not scoring even higher in national opinion polls.

Most surveys now show Mr. Obama with a lead of about 6 or 7 percentage points over Mr. McCain nationally, and Mr. Obama rarely breaks the 50 percent threshold. Those are statistics that have given Republicans, who are not exactly feeling joyful these days, a line to grab, and they have fed some underlying anxiety among some Democrats.

This is such a bullshit arguement.  How in the world, what world, is a consistent 6-7% lead, in July, a bad thing?

Today, the Bias is converging quickly....

  1. The Page is SCREAMING about this one poll with a bad screen by Gallup.

It is just one poll, folks, but the latest USA Today/Gallup survey suggests McCain jumped 10 points since last month.

The Media is obviously intending to set every bar higher, move every goal post further, and claim 270 Electorial Votes is just not enough...

Unrealistic expectations are being set and the media usual suspects are ignoring the obvious evidence that the trip was a success.   Obama bumped up in Rasmussen over the course of several days, rocketed up in Gallup and reached a peak in RS2000's poll...

But then the outlier comes out with a bogus screen, and the media runs wild.  Typical Liberal media...
