He said that just a few months ago -- that, you know, we made great economic progress under George Bush. Then he started running ads saying 'oh, Obama just going to raise your taxes and he will lead to an economic disaster.'"

"Mr. McCain let me explain to you, the economic disaster is happening right now," Obama continued, "maybe you haven't noticed!"

McCain is such an easy target... it's all low hanging fruit. This is all a decision on Obama's part. Get real tough or stay on vacation. I think Obama has seen the polls and hopefully the real tough Obama is now here to stay.

Even more, Obama brings up Gramm and wealth...

"He has got his major economic advisor calling you whiners," Obama said, referring to former Sen. Phil Gramm. "He said, 'oh, the American people are whining' – one of McCain's top advisors said, 'a nation of whiners.' 'They have a mental depression. They are just imagining things are bad."

"This guy obviously does not pump his own gas. He obviously doesn't do his own shopping. He (is) obviously not paying his own bills," Obama said.

We need to stay sharp, get sharp, hit tough, above the belt, but draw blood... I hope that Joe Biden added into the mix will ultimately allow the campaign to take on a constant sharper tone on the economy...
