Rachel, the stakes could not be any higher with respect to our freedoms and civil liberties. We need your voice more than ever. I do not take the Sarah Palin pick lightly, not at all. Her extremist profile shows that she is against everything a progressive person is for.  Palin presents herself as a feminist, a working mommy, a breastfeeder, but she will rip the very liberties and quest for equality that women have worked so long to obtain. Rachel are you listening.

Rachel you are the true maverick and the embodiment of our silent voice. We need you more than ever.
Palin a proud card carrying memeber of Feminists for Life will try to convience women that motherhood should always be their choice because there are options available. We will hear arguments that the poor can obtain food stamps and that there is always somebody who can watch your child if you are creative enough.

But, as Ruth Rosen on TPM writes about her talk with Serrin Foster, president of Feminists for Life these people are dangerous,

Feminism is all about having choices, Foster told me, after her talk. I couldn't agree more. Young women, she says, should have the right to bear a child and have access to high-quality, affordable child care. Again, I heartily agreed.

But Foster is cleverly disingenuous. When I asked what she does to promote child care, her answers were vague and evasive. When I read the organization's brochures aimed at campus physicians and psychologists, I found nothing about campaigning for child care. The real goal is to convince professionals to persuade young women to "choose" to bear a baby.

The Palin type is lethal. She will smile and act just ginger while she promotes an extreme agenda that will emphasize the censorship things like Judy Blume books and discrimination against Americans who do not share her right wing views. To match her we need a true woman of beauty. Rachel are you listening.

Rachel Maddow you are that woman and this is your time and moment. It was not just fate that you were given your own show to begin on September 8th. We need you to show and tell the world what a progressive woman looks and sounds like. Rachel, you are so comfortable with yourself and determined to be strong not cute. You show no fear but strength in your positions and ring them loud with facts and a rational analysis which effectively pierces the fear machine.

We need you to be the voice of the voiceless and speak truth to power. At this most critical period our freedom to live our lives free from extremist intervention hangs in the balance.

I hope Rachel Maddow is listening to me, how about you?

Update:

Let me be clear, that I absolutely do not believe Rachel would not tear a person like Palin up into pieces. The purpose of the diary is twofold. First, people like Palin are the main ones censoring books about life, especially gay and lesbian life. One of those authors happens to be Judy Blume who wrote, Are you listening God, its me Margaret. The second purpose is to say that Rachel Maddow is womanhood and that her voice is needed at this critical juncture in this election. And, that her show will air at the most critical time in this election.

Update 2

This is the reason for the title taken from Wikipedia

Forever... is a 1975 novel by Judy Blume dealing with teenage sexuality. Because of the novel's content it has been the frequent target of censors and appears on the American Library Association list of the 100 Most Frequently Challenged Books of 1990-2000 at number eight.  The book is often cited as controversial because of Blume's use of suggestive language and because her character Katherine goes on "the pill". Criticism of the novel

often comes from sexual abstinence pressure groups

, as well as religious groups who consider the use of 'the pill' unsuitable for Blume's teenage audience.

Salin Palin is a part of the very abstinence groups that would ban a book like Forever and others. This is why I promote the title of the diary.
