It ia Day 2 of my arrival in Las Vegas from Sydney to work for the Kerry campaign.  Things are really hopping in Nevada.  There are hundreds of Californians who have come over to help out with the effort all across the state.  It is so great to see them working so hard alongside their fellow Nevadans.  More are pouring in every day, and we are trying to find accommodation for hundreds more.  So God Bless all you from California who are really making a difference this year.  For those of you thinking of coming over the more the merrier!!

There are also many people from Midwest (mostly Chicago) and from safe states in the Northeast (Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey).  Plus the expat total is now 1 Australian (me), 1 Dutch, plus 5 English.  

Not only is there lots of people, but these blessed souls are working from 7:00 AM- 11:00 PM every day and sometimes longer.

Also all the GOTV people are totally, awesomely organised--it is really amazing how they are effectively working with so many volunteers from all over.

So Nevada is well taken care of.

So not only will we PAINT NEVADA BLUE--we will paint it DEEP BLUE.

So let NEVADA be an INSPIRATION to all of you SWING STATES out there.

Jet lag is finally kicking in, so I will call it quits for today.  

Tomorrow getting ready for the debate and the visit of John and Teresa on Thursday here in Las Vegas!!! Plus Barack Obama on Friday, the totally coolest Senate candidate ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
