First shipments of water and other supplies are not expected to be ready for distribution un til Monday evening, nearly 72 hours after Hurricane Ike made landfall.

There is no excuse for the delayed reaction... Trucks should have been loaded and within quick delivery distance while still safely away from the storm and able to move in once winds died down.

"We expect FEMA to deliver these supplies and we will hold them accountable," Mayor Bill White said.

It's sickening to think that our government could once again fail it's citizens in a time of need.

Texans much like those effected in Louisiana and other area's during 2005 pay taxes and deserve a quick response when assistance is needed.

Once again the Bush Administration has failed the people it's elected to serve.

Shame on you FEMA, shame on you Bush administration.
