VOTER REGISTRATION DECISION EXPECTED AT 4:30 P.M.: District Judge Valerie Adair heard arguments this morning in the Democratic Party lawsuit alleging voter registration fraud by a company hired by Republicans, and said she will announce her decision at 4:30 p.m. today. Attorneys representing the Democratic Party urged Adair to open the registration period for a limited time Monday to give voters they say were victimized by the group a second chance to register.  Adair, however, expressed concerns that reopening the process could place an
undue burden on the Clark County Elections Division, which is processing absentee ballots. Adair also pointed to a disclaimer on registration formsthat warns voters that they risk not being registered properly if they don't return the forms in person or mail them to the county.

MY OWN COMMENT:   UGHHHHHH!  How could a judge even think of pointing to a disclaimer in a case like this that involves blatant fraud.  DOUBLE UGHHHHHH

DENIED: District Judge Valerie Adair denied a request by the Democratic Party that she order Clark County officials to reopen voter registration. Democrats contend a company linked to the Republican Party trashed voter registration documents completed by potential Democratic voters. The judge said there is no way to ensure those voters affected by the allegations would be the only ones to register if she granted the Democrats' request to reopen voter registration.
