Rick Davis did no good on the conference call held this afternoon attempting to link Barack Obama to ACORN...

Davis expressed outrage that, "in the middle of the greatest disaster in our financial system that we’d had in our lifetime, that the Democrats in the United States Senate would aIctually link payments to ACORN in the bailout package that they promoted --  prior to Sen. McCain coming to town and actually blowing that package up. So we can actually say that in addition to saving taxpayers millions of dollars, and we’re very happy that no more taxpayer dollars were added to the pile of money going to ACORN."

Lest anyone forget, after that Bailout vote failed, just as they were attempting to take credit for it's passage, they immediately blamed Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi...

"This bill failed because Barack Obama and the Democrats put politics ahead of country," Holtz-Eakin said

Even worse, Davis had this to say in offering solutions to the current market crisis

"There’s very little a candidate for president can say and very little the president can say about what’s happening in the stock markets except hope that they correct themselves," Davis said, adding that McCain's mortgage plan could be an "elixir" for the financial crisis.

Maybe that which doctor prayer group will pray for my 401(k) too...
