So the turnout in San Francisco - in this, a year where Obama was pretty much guaranteed the state, but in which Prop 8 was highly contested - was only around 50%, which not only bucks all trends, but defies logic, what with the stakes as they were.  Doesn't that seem fishy to anyone?

I don't much buy into conspiracies - but this just doesn't have the ring of truth to it, of honesty - especially considering the lay of the land, as it were.  Prop 8?  50%?  San Francisco?
