I hope this is not how Obama want's to prove that he has no intention of being neutral on the Middle East's/world's biggest issue

In an interview with Ma'ariv, Emanuel's father, Dr. Benjamin Emanuel, said he was convinced that his son's appointment would be good for Israel. "Obviously he will influence the president to be pro-Israel," he was quoted as saying. "Why wouldn't he be? What is he, an Arab? He's not going to clean the floors of the White House."
Obama is doing some serious damage here to the good-will he has earned from people across the world. I still hope that Mr. Emanuel sticks to his job of being chief of staff rather than being chief of forieng policy or even domestic policy having to do with civil rights or that is it..sorry to say :(
