Election ’08 really was the gift that keeps on giving. But now it’s over. Let the post-election parodies begin!! I would’ve posted this sooner but a) I had to go away for a week to the lesser-known Kitty Dukakis clinic to break my addiction to cable news which had grown to full-blown junkie status over the past year , and b) it took me all this time before I was convinced there wouldn’t be a recount. I don’t know about you, but the last time I called a plumber to solve a problem, he had to come back three times ‘til he got it right. I’m not exactly sure how that translates politically other than I guess there are some Johns even a plumber can’t help...
