Over the Bush years it has been a mess at times but the Atlanta VA
has come a long way just since November.  My husband is treated for
several service connected disabilities at the Atlanta VA and they
are all Emory Doctors.  He is getting expert care and they are very
sensitive to his needs.  It has not always been this way but now,
they IMO  the veterans are getting the respect they deserve.

Now, when these Republicans come down hard on Socialized medicine, I think we need to bring up the Veterans Administration.  They claim they
are all behind the VA healthcare programs.  What's the difference?
He was an inpatient last week and every test was completed, proper medication applied, and even an RN took his bag out to the car upon departure.  

Conservatives are fussing over little things like caps on monies.  
It is true, not all VA health facilities are created the same and some
are better than others but they all answer to the government.

Use the VA as an argument against them and ask them if they are against
Veteran healthcare since it is socialized medicine and watch their jaw drop.  IT is what I have been doing.
