Here is a little something something I threw together for fun. It is the days current headlines represented as a montage. The montage is updated every hour and so changes quite often. It is reading googles new page for the images locations and grabbing them from the original source. Guess I was bored :) Let me know what you think and how you like it. Read below on how to include it on any site.
I will make it available for anyone to include on their site. Just put this script on your page and away you go! The images are optimized for speed and most are only 2-3k so the whole monatage is under 100k.

All the links go back to my website and which frames the news story/image so people can rate them. Poorly rated news items will auto drop off the montage on the next generation so bogus stories can be culled.
