Well, they are really serious about not wanting videos or camera shots of what is happening down in the Gulf.
Now the little lady in the video, the one referred to I am sure as the small people by BP, held her ground quiet well
as the Big old Bad Law enforcement officer tried to make her leave. Of course, there were no laws being broken.
I find it quite amusing that he walked away when she told him that she was going to call his supervisor.
This is absolutely outrageous that a 6'4" so called cop
tries to intimidate a young lady trying to find out what
was happening with the clean up workers, which required
an ambulance. Well, actually two were called.
I am sure it won't be long before beachgoers and tourists
will be asked to remove all cameras and recording devices from the beach areas.
I do not work for any company that supplies those little spy pens but every person needs to invest when they can, I am for sure, in one of those little ink pens that are DVR.
They come in keychains and pens and sunglasses, and it is
shame and disgrace that in America, ordinary Americans have to sneak around to talk to people that would talk if not so fearful of Big Oil and shameful people like me would have to resort to spy like cameras to find out the
truth of what is happening down in the Gulf.
Of course it is a possibility that had she not been
holding that camera, he may have tasered her.
When it gets to the point that 5 year old children and 89 year old grannies get tasered then it is past time to rise up to saying No more of this edge of the world police state owned by big corporations. I never said armed with anything but cameras. Cameras and transparency will halt some of this nonsense.
Imagine if this is your daughter that you taught to be independent and free thinking...How would you feel that she was bullied in such a manner. How big a threat was this young lady? How big a threat is an 89 year old grannie needing medical attention? A child of 6 not minding? Handcuffing 5 year old? How big and bad do you have to be to show that you can make that old woman and little child do as you say. How about Clarence Thomas's
nephew being tasered in a mental institution. Fascism at it's finest and let us hope old Clarence learns a thing or two now that Militarized police has hit his kin..literally.
It is past time for us to do more than talk among ourselves.
I knew when swat gear spread to the cop on the beat that we were one step away from Militarization of the police depts and the local shoplifter and jaywalker didn't have a prayer. What about that young man where the defense was, I was reaching for my taser and grabbed the wrong gun?
