We have kids disappearing like crazy. We have Jails that are overcrowded.  Americans carry guns to church.  We televise
things like a car chase down a local street and call it breaking news. People crash a White house event to get a reality show.  News is not really news.  Government is , well, I am not sure what that is anymore.  Dems won but cow down to big business or bow to republicans.  We have cops tasering 89 year old grannies, tasering and handcuffing 5 and 6 year olds and people allowing their children to swim in toxic poisioned oceans.  
Education is a warm body count for attendance and not that
much about learning and we can't plug a hole in a well.
We produce nothing.  We can not even produce a shirt here in America anymore.  We outsource jobs.  We cater to corruption and
the good guys finish last most of the time.
The loudest, rudest people get pampered and the people who
are community servers and actually try to help get dissed.

We want to have employment and better living conditions but do not want to pay higher taxes.  Two wars and tax cut is unheard of.  People are paying lower taxes than they did 25 years ago and they protest and to a point of revolt.  People have little regard for any views other than their own and refuse to even communicate or listen.  
This is all summed up in a few words.  Selfish, greedy, but mostly STUPID.
I am tired of stupid.  I am so tired of stupid that I am beginning to think we are suffering from more than lack of education and intelligence.  I think Bush and Co.  gave us all some sort of Trauma and we are in shock  and just follow whatever sounds best at the time.  How about the hard nosed people who just don't give a damn about anything.

As a veterans advocate, I don't see a lot of people who really care about that soldier (especially on the right) once he or she hangs up that uniform.  We had an incident where a wonderful man and his son in this neighborhood was killed in an auto crash and my daughter and I have to stand
guard over the memorial page to keep down the racist comments and delete people who post.

I am beginning to become so depressed over nothing more
than the stupidity of the majority if the people who think tea parties are great, secession is in order, hate is good and as long as one can spell c a t, they have an education.
Just don't ask the majority how many members are there in congress or the senate or who is the 3rd in command for the executive branch of government.

Please tell me I am wrong because I am beginning to think somewhere along the line, we have become some sort of mutation of homosapiens.  I am beginning to think stupid is contagious and we are less than human. By we, I mean we as American citizens , not the few who post here and basically those who are on the left.  What happened and when did it get sooooooooooooooo bad?

How do we even get back to post McCarthyism or Nixon days.
Nixon is a liberal compared to what we have out there now.
The whole of Americans polled seem to have short term memory loss if they think republicans and tea partiers are the answer to ther problems today.  Come on......We need a name for this disorder.  It is beyond stupid !
