Ah Kentucky. Home of Bourbon, basketball and bluegrass. Now Kentucky is becoming known for something else however. The rolling Circus sideshow that is our Senate delegation. Leave it to Kentucky to continue sending the Senator for Communist China, Mitch McConnell to Washington to outsource our jobs to his homeland in Asia. Then of course there is outgoing Senator Bunning. It is very well documented the long string of lunacy he brought to the table. Ah, but now Kentucky voters have one-upped even themselves. Now, we will have the rolling circus freakshow officially known as Senator Rand Paul. Here at Hillbilly Report it is going to be a very fun, but painfully insulting ride for the next six years.

You see, fresh off an election victory in which he let the voters in one of the most poverty-stricken states know that they are paid too much, and let Eastern Kentucky coal miners know that a few of them dying are acceptable as long as profits are not interrupted, and whose cowardly supporters showed the whole world that little ladies you disagree with should be kicked in the head and that Gods called Aqua Buddha like to smoke weed and "borrow" other women for worship we are already getting some very confusing and idiotic statements from the La-La land only known as "tea-bagging". Now, the golden son with the twisty curls is free to represent the greediest and least patriotic, and of course the most insane ideologues anywhere.

Now, here in Kentucky we seem to have a reputation. Folks see us as backwards, ignorant hillbillies whose family trees do not branch and whose women trot around barefoot and pregnant among the decaying corpses of our grandparents rusted 55 Chevy pickup trucks in our front yards. Of course, when we keep electing stooges to steal money from us, what is the world to think??

And now Rand Paul can be proud. He is adding to the stereotype of Kentucky as a backward, ignorant redneck heaven in the middle of nowhere. You see, to defend tax cuts he will say anything now matter how stupid. Now, to add to the library of Paulite idiocy we have a new gem. You see, in the twisted world of Rand Paul we now have greedy, rich retirees who do not want to pay their taxes creating jobs. You gotta hear this one:

For those of you who cannot believe what you here, here is a transcript:

RAND PAUL (R-KY): The other thing is instead of taxing high wage earners more on their social security, give the, uh, maybe have means testing for those who are high wage earners for receiving Social Security or for receiving Medicare instead of adding new taxes. The problem and the reason why that's better is instead of the government sending a check to somebody who makes $200,000 a year in retirement income, let's not tax them. Let's not— just not send the money to them. You don't want to tax them though because they are creating jobs. You don't want to take more money out of the private sector.

Ah, but when you are Mitch McConnell's new bitch, you better tow the Republican line, no matter how idiotic. You see, when tax cuts are enacted for the very rich it does not help the economy because the greediest and least patriotic among us simply pocket the money and let the American economy suffer:

Tax cuts in 2001 and 2003 under President George W. Bush were followed by increases in the saving rate among the rich, according to data from Moody’s Analytics Inc. When taxes were raised under Bill Clinton, the saving rate fell.

When tax legislation was signed by Clinton in 1993 -- raising the top tax rate to 39.6 percent from 31 percent -- the saving rate fell from 12.1 percent in the second quarter to 9.5 percent in the first quarter of 1994. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index rose 1.9 percent from July through September, after little change the previous three months.

When the first Bush tax cuts were signed into law in June 2001, pushing the top rate down to 35 percent, the wealthy boosted savings. The saving rate climbed to 2.8 percent in the first quarter of 2002 from minus 2 percent in the second quarter of 2001. The increased savings coincided with a 1.1 percent decline in the S&P 500 index.

You see, when these selfish folks are allowed to be more selfish they actually increase our debt and deficits and harm our economy in one fell swoop. But then again when you are a member of the modern Republican Party all you care about is placating your greedy base no matter how many lies it takes and how stupid it makes you look.

Of course here in Kentucky we sadly always seem to get what we vote for and reinforce the stereotype of our people and state. (Sighs).

Its gonna be another long six years of apolegizing to the whole enlightened world for the antics of yet another rolling Senatorial freakshow circus from Kentucky.
