Yes, this House of Hypocrites is all set to try to insure that folks like us cannot get healthcare all while making damn sure that their buddies who got them elected with millions of secret dollars, the same folks who crashed the economy do not have to sacrifice one dime. In fact, they are chomping at the bit to allow them to horde more of the money to themselves:

Boehner of Ohio as the new speaker before pushing through an overhaul of House rules intended to expedite their drive to dismantle the new health care law, cut federal spending and provide the tax cuts they see as way to jump-start the economy.

Yes indeed, we remember how those tax cuts jump started our economy before. Jump started it right off a cliff as we all pay for it, and the folks that Republicans really represent sacrifice nothing and indeed reap huge rewards.

Even more comical than expecting the failed, disgraced agenda of a bunch of hypocrites which crashed our economy to begin with to do anything but make things worse were the statements made by the incoming Speaker, the Prince of Orange John Boehner:

Mr. Boehner said that excessive and wasteful federal spending had caught up with the nation and warned that "hard work and tough decisions will be required of the 112th Congress."

Something tells me that none of these "tough decisions" will include any kind of sacrifice from Boehner, or his greedy base. Yes, their "tough decisions" are all for you. Giving up your healthcare. Working for less. Giving up your Social Security. Watching in horror as the greediest and least patriotic among us have an orgy raping working America once again. I can guarantee not one cent of Corporate Welfare will end nor one tax break for sending American jobs overseas. Yes, all the problems will be blamed on the lazy American worker who just refuses to be a slave.

Yes, to show just where their hearts really are, they want spending that helps the average American to be offset, while their own tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires and themselves can just be put on the credit card for our children to pay:

In order to reverse what they say is a Congressional process tilted toward spending increases, the new Republican majority in the House — over strong Democratic objections — approved rules that would require spending increases to be directly offset with cuts elsewhere. But the rules would allow future tax cuts to be enacted without offsetting spending reductions, and would permit repeal of the health care legislation, which was estimated to save the government more than $140 billion over 10 years, without any requirement that those revenue losses be made up elsewhere.

Yes, all this sounds real familiar. It sounds just like the last time when Republicans controlled the House and rubber-stamped every failed policy of a disgraced Republican President. Policies that wasted trillions of dollars on idiotic wars, Corporate Welfare and huge tax cuts for the very rich.

At least one Democrat put it in perspective quite nicely:

"House Republicans are like the fellow who bellies up to the bar, asking for just one more round of tax breaks for his buddies, while declaring, ‘Put it on my tab,’ " said Representative Lloyd Doggett, Democrat of Texas. "But it’s really our tab. By focusing on only half the budget equation, and avoiding revenue stewardship, they reject sound fiscal leadership."

So welcome hypocrites. You are the bane of all that is decent and respectable in America and in human nature. You are the enemies of the American way as you try and roll back the Enlightenment and get us all to pay for it for you. You will slop at the government trough, and then cry because there is no more money for you to steal to give to yourselves.
