It is no secret that the modern Republican Party hates their country and the workers that live within. For the better part of thirty decades they have waged constant war on their own country at the behest of Corporate America with their allies in the Corporate faction of the Democratic Party. One of the many ways they have waged war upon the American worker include a myriad of trade deals which resulted in the loss of American jobs and stagnation of wages.

Now Republicans in Congress want to keep the ball rolling on destroying what is left of the middle-class. They want three new trade deals which will allow for more outsourcing of American jobs but of course they want to deny aid to those Americans who would lose their jobs as a result:

Three pending trade agreements will get House consideration on Thursday but without funding for a program backed by the White House that aids workers displaced by foreign trade.

The House Ways and Means Committee will hold a mock markup of the accords with Colombia, Panama and Korea, but won't consider renewing funding for Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA), despite the Obama administration's inclusion of the program into the Korean deal.

This despite "concessions" that amounted merely to working Americans giving up more protections from having their jobs displaced:

Camp also has touted a handful of concessions on TAA, including reforms to unemployment insurance and a reduction in the number of weeks of income support from 156 in the 2009 law down to 117 weeks, as well as a decrease in the health coverage tax credit (HCTC) to 72.5 percent from the 2009 law’s 80 percent, eliminating it after 2013.

Yes, despite the fact that the Chamber of Commerce and most of the business community the Republicans whore for favor the extension of protections for the American worker it is just too much for the modern Republican Party to tell American workers anything but go to hell:

On Thursday, Senate Republicans boycotted the Senate Finance Committee's mock markup, saying they were opposed to taking up the agreement with Korea because it included TAA and were concerned about fast-track authority if the program is attached to a trade deal.

Which really leads one to wonder just why Republicans hate American workers so much. Is it because Americans refuse to be slaves and want to be fairly compensated and have a chance at the American dream? Or is it just because they have become so consumed with their own greed that they cannot stand seeing anyone but themselves benefitting from the American system.

Either way we need to stand up and fight for our country and people against both Republicans and Corporate Democrats who are determined to destroy our country no matter what the cost for profit. As long as Americans allow themselves to be robbed blind there will always be plenty of vultures within our own country who will be more than happy to outsource our jobs and steal our money as they let us know we can go straight to hell.
