DAY 7: The dust started to settle after Howard's
controversial dismissal after the
sixth tribal council. A stunned Carol returned to a camp that she thought she would never see again, gathering together all of Howard's belongings that he had not bothered to pack.
JohnE and Wesley appeared to be getting on each other's nerves. JohnE told the others that he would go out to get some fresh water at noon. But, just as he was getting set to leave, Wesley appeared back at the campsite with full canteens in tow. "We needed fresh water, I can offer my services," Wesley said, ignoring JohnE's reminders that he had already said he was going to go get it.
Despite the budding rivalry, the seventh tribal council was a mere formality. Carol had survived 4 previous tribal councils where it looked like she would get the boot, but this time it was certain. There would be no rigged voting machines to save her this time, an so her torch was extinguished.
So we've come now down to the Final Two, Wesley and JohnE, to face the jury of the outcasts. JohnE has made the fewest enemies, receiving the fewest number of votes in every round. But Wesley has a lot of friends. Which strategy will lead to victory? Who will be the Democratic Surivor?
ROUND 7: Carol
ROUND 6: Howard
ROUND 5: Dick
ROUND 4: Al
ROUND 3: JohnK
ROUND 2: Dennis
ROUND 1: Joe
(This is the final poll. Please note that, although the TV version of Survivor asks its contestants to vote for someone in the final tribal council, I'm sticking with asking you all to vote against someone. Hope this doesn't confuse. This poll will officially close on Tuesday morning.)
