Karl Rove Named Anchor of ABC World News Tonight

LOS ANGELES, April 27 (Reuters) - Former Bush White House aide Karl Rove will take over as anchor of the "ABC World News Tonight" starting in June, ABC News announced on Thursday.
Rove, 56, who joined ABC News in 2005 as a political analyst for " World News Tonight," will replace current co-hosts Elizabeth Vargas and Bob Woodruff. Terms of his contract with the Walt Disney Co.-owned network were not disclosed.
