A while back, I commented in another person's diary entry that there were a lot of folks that I knew locally, who didn't want to get near the primary process, but who were ready to open up the checkbooks and perhaps, Lord have mercy,
actively participate in getting the final Democratic Presidential candidate elected once the smoke cleared.
Tonight, I recieved a call from someone I know through my daughter's friends - he's one of their parents. He's sharp as a tack and a definite Democrat, but has always been extremely reticent about actually committing to anything.
He's ready to go to work, and wants to get started. Who should he talk to?
It's March.
He's ready.
To actually do stuff, and not just write a check.
I'm flabbergasted.
