From an email sent by the Kerry Campaign:
Tomorrow, members of Congress will meet to certify the results of the 2004 presidential election. I will not be taking part in a formal protest of the Ohio Electors.
...
Florida 2000 was a wake up call. But the Republicans who control Congress ignored it. Will they now ignore what happened in 2004?
Emphasis mine
Sorry, but since in 2000 0 Democratic Senators (only one was needed) voted to reject Florida's electoral votes and therefore launch a full investigation into the fraud, the fault lies as much with the Democrats in the Senate as with the Republicans. It seems quite dishonest for Kerry to blame Republicans for his (and all senators') abdication of responsiblity.
I do not think the election results are in question; the issue is rather that the Democratic establishment is not standing up for our voters. The best way to draw attention and address the issue of voter fraud is to contest Ohio's electoral votes.
