I got interested in
Barbara Ann Radnofsky's run for Senate in TX when I heard about her challenge {here on Dkos} to:
Kay Bailey Hutchinson's statement
"I certainly hope that if there is going to be an indictment that says something happened, that it is an indictment on a crime and not some perjury technicality where they couldn't indict on the crime..."
Barbara's response:
"No elected official should tolerate or excuse perjury. I call on Kay Bailey Hutchison to renounce perjury. She should resign if she tolerates it."
That told me I had to investigate further, which I did.
When I dropped a note on the Radnofsky for Senate website to the webmaster expressing support and making a suggestion, I figured I would get a response {if I got one at all} from a person who did the web page. Maybe, if I was lucky.
Imagine what a surprise I got when I received a personal e-mail from Barbara, herself. I have yet to get a personal e-mail from any of my current NH Senators or Congressmen {all Republicans}, and only once in the past did I get a personal response from even a local Democrat {and he was an acquaintence, so it really didn't "count"}.
I am impressed, to say the least.
People like Barbara Ann Radnofsky are going to make the difference.
