Biden Flops in Illinois

If you are running for the highest office in our nation you should be good at doing the basics...such as having the minimum organization for a reception to meet potential supporters.

Joe Biden failed that test last night at a reception hosted by the Chicago Law Firm of Winston & Strawn. I've been around presidential politics in several different capacities and I have never before seen an event so disorganized.

Donors and Volunteers were turned away at the door in an attempt to create the perception the event was too crowded with supporters. Biden got a taste of his own medicine though as he was in fact briefly stopped from entering his own event.

His comments were typical and seemed to be tailored to an "all lawyer" audience, which it was not. Biden attempted to portray himself as a national security expert....which he is not.

I've liked some of the things Biden has said throughout his long career in the Senate. However the fact of the matter is a Northeastern Liberal Senator cannot win a national election, it just doesn't work (listen up Hillary). Even if it could work, Biden's lackluster performance and disregard for the people who were invited sure the hell didn't win him any friends in Illinois.
