It's still seventeen months to the general election,
but Rick Santorum isn't waiting . . .
President Bush helped to bring in $1.5 million today for the reelection bid of U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum and the state Republican Party, raising twice the amount the campaign had expected, a Santorum spokesman said.
Bush spoke to several hundred people at a private luncheon fundraiser held at the Bryn Mawr house of Mitchell L. Morgan, the head of a local real estate firm.
For $10,000 (split between Santorum and the PA Republican Party), you got a picture with the President. For $500/$1000, you got lunch.
People, this is not the time for intra-Democratic sparring, whether it's Dean/Biden or otherwise. Rick Santorum will have $10M in the bank by the time the Democrats have a nominee in Pennsylvania next May, and we've got to be ready.
So whether you're pro-Casey or Pennacchio (or even pro-Sandals), for heaven's sake, give SOMEONE money today.
Because if we don't have the money to battle back from the opening bell, WE LOSE.
